Weekly Wishes v.2

The Nectar Collective

Last week was my first week doing this and I have to say I sucked at my goals/wishes last week.

Last Weeks Goals:
#1. Wake up at 5:30am Monday-Friday. I started doing this a few weeks ago, and I was so motivated and inspired all day. Waking up and spending some quiet time with God, working out, and hopefully working on some blog things as well.

I actually didn't wake up at 5:30a at all this week. In my defense (which is probably an excuse) Gary was gone for the first part of the week. Heisman and I got hardly any sleep while he was gone.

#2. Get my etsy store completely updated. I have it up right now, but there are some items that I need to add.

Again, a complete slacker! It is hard being a single parent. Granted, it's a dog, but he is a needy pup. And I put him in doggie day care TWICE!! That didn't stop him at all.

#3. Work on a social media schedule. I need to come up with something for promoting my sponsors, my posts, and my store. If you have and tips or suggestions let me know.

I didn't get this accomplish. I was better than I have been in the past, but I can do better. I really need to use my time better.

#4. Disconnect. Gary is gone this week for the All-Star Game for the South Atlantic League. Our roomie is gone on family vacation. I have the house to myself. So I plan on reading, watching girlie shows, and just relaxing a little bit.

This Weeks Goals:
#1. Wake up at 5:30am Monday-Friday. I NEED to get up and be productive. I have even made an action plan for every morning. I know what I need to do when I get up. There is a purpose!

#2. Close the etsy store until the relaunch. I want to have everything in order before I put my items out there. I'm not waiting until it's perfect, because it will never be perfect. But at least all the items that I want to open with are available. I need to make more time to knit.

#3. Social Media Schedule. Etsy Store. Blog. Etc.

#4. Time Management. This has been something that I have been struggling with lately. Each night before bed I am going to write out what I need that day over what I had planned. I hope to see how much time is wasted on things and how to get more things accomplished.

  1. Being the only one home with the dog is hard!!!! Believe me, I know. I get so much more accomplished after Joe is home than before. I think it will be a lot easier when we have a doggie door and a fenced in yard, but we'll see. My pup demands a lot of attention too ;) I didn't know you had an Etsy shop, I'm checking it out right now!

  2. You'll accomplish your goals, I know it! Time management is one of my weaknesses, but I find if I schedule my day, I actually get stuff done.

  3. I'll definitely be interested to see what you find out with your time management. I've always meant to do that but I'm always afraid to see just how much I procrastinate! haha

  4. I also try and get up around 5h30 am (I find the earlier I wake up, the more I get done in my day) even though my body screams at me to stay i bed! Good luck with your wishes for the week :) xx Love from a new South African follower living in South Korea x

  5. yes, time management is a rough thing to handle. Good luck!

  6. have you tried coschedule? it can schedule your blog posts, social media posts and it's awesome! it's 10/month but you can do a free trial. i love it! and thanks for visiting my blog :)

  7. I have blogger and it's only on wordpress. Trust me I have thought about switching too..

  8. Hopefully something that gets better with age right?

  9. I would love to get up earlier..I have really been struggling this winter with that.

  10. I'm such a procratinator.. Nothing has changed..

  11. I need to get better about it. Thanks for the motivation.

  12. He requires a lot of attention.. he being puppy, and the hubs too who I am kidding.

  13. I need to stop making my goals known because I usually fail at them. I am also quitting my sponsorships because I can't do it. Maybe soon, but I don't know when.
